This class is designed for kiddos ages 2-4yrs. In this 30 minute class teachers will introduce ballet, tap, jazz, and acro to the preschoolers. This class is designed to teach students basic dance vocabulary while using creativity through movement. Students will perform two dance routines in our RPAC recital at the end of the year!
Dress Code: Dance attire (leotards, skirts, pants, shorts, dance tops), jazz/ballet and tap shoes, hair secured out of face.
This class is designed for kiddos ages 5-7yrs. In this 45 minute class teachers will introduce ballet, tap, jazz, and acro to the kiddos. This class is designed to teach students basic dance vocabulary while using creativity through movement. Students will perform two dance routines in our RPAC recital at the end of the year!

This is a 60 minute beginning-intermediate class for ages 8 & up. Jazz & Tap technique is covered in this class. Students are taught both combination’s and progressions in each style. Routines are learned for practice and memory retention. Students will perform two routines at our RPAC recital at the end of the year.

Ballet is the foundation for all forms of dance. Class begins with barre, working to perfect balance and placement, which leads into progressively more intricate center exercises. The study of Ballet involves the enjoyment of movement, expression to music, combined with discipline. Ballet is a highly technical form of dance with an anatomical approach.
Dress Code: Solid color leotard, pink tights, pink or black ballet shoes, hair in a bun.
Pointe work is traditionally performed by female dancers in a hard “blocked” Pointe shoe. Pointe takes sufficient muscle development, strength & ballet technique, so students must receive permission to begin Pointe.

A great class for all levels! This class will feature a variety of strengthening and flexibility exercises. Increasing strength and flexibility will improve movement, expression, and execution of proper technique.

Students study a broad range of jazz styles including Broadway, classical jazz, lyrical, Fosse, etc. Class starts with proper stretching techniques to enhance strength & flexibility, followed by progressions, emphasizing turns, jumps, leaps, and kicks. Dancers learn a short piece of choreography each week.

Tap dancing is a stylized form of jazz with sound in which students wear shoes equipped with taps that make a rhythmic sound on the floor. At the developmental level, tap reinforces rhythm concepts. As the students advance, they'll learn increasingly intricate combinations. Tap is experiencing a come back and is enjoyed by all ages!

Our Hip Hop classes teach rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography without suggestive music or movements. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fast-paced dance class. Our Hip Hop dancers develop focus, strength, and agility while having fun!
Dress Code: Loose fitting clothing, tennis shoes, hair secured out of face.
